The Development & Communications Director is responsible for the leadership of all of OFC’s development and communications activities. The position, oversees, develops and implements a comprehensive, long- and short-term development plan to strengthen financial support and position Our Family Coalition in accord with its mission, goals and objectives. At the same time this position drives the organizational thought leadership nationally, overseeing the curation and production of original content about intersectional LGBTQ+ families and family-building which establish a national standard in accuracy, clarity, and effectiveness. This position will be charged with developing and implementing fundraising strategies, external and internal communications strategies to meet or exceed OFC’s annual and long-term revenue and community impact goals. They will also oversee development related marketing and communications efforts as part of their responsibilities. This position reports to the Executive Director.
