Description
This newly created Director of Development position will build and deliver a cohesive development strategy for the Institute for the Study of Societal Issues, which currently has no development staff. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative development professional to partner with the Institute’s Director, faculty chairs of the ISSI Centers, and staff to support the next phase of our growth through the active engagement with current donors as well as the identification, cultivation and solicitation of funding from a variety of potential new sources including foundations, corporations, government, and individuals. The Development Director will develop and implement a fundraising vision and strategy that leverages the Institute’s focus on and history of community-engaged research on social change and training and support of faculty and students from marginalized communities.
50% FTE
This is a hybrid position, with 90% remote work eligibility.
Salary Range
$90,000 - $104,000 (that is the full-time salary; this is a half time position).
