Development staff are often the ones who articulate the impact of programs and services, and they are charged with attracting the donors and volunteers needed to reach their organization’s goals. Without effective development professionals, nonprofits struggle to raise the resources they need to raise the quality of life for all those touched by their programs and services.
Development Executives Roundtable (DER) has helped San Francisco Bay Area fundraisers be better at their jobs and advance their careers since 1965. We believe that providing high quality, affordable education and networking opportunities not only improves the lives of local development professionals, but also improves the lives of the people and communities impacted by their causes.
The best way to support DER is to become a member and be an active participant in our educational events.
While DER collects fees from members, these funds only cover a percentage of DER’s total operating budget. Your donation ensures that DER can keep offering a robust range of fundraising educational and networking programs that are accessible for everyone.
If you are an individual, your financial gift to DER supports a thriving community of your peers and ensures you have access to the tools you need for professional success.
If you are a corporation, foundation or nonprofit organization, your gift to DER builds a qualified workforce in the Bay Area and expands the pool of prospective employees for local nonprofit organizations.
Our programming not only helps professionals learn the tools of the trade and access a network of support — it also increases job satisfaction and improves staff retention.
DER is a 501(c)(3) organization. To make a tax-deductible gift to DER, click below. Our Tax ID: 14-1946176.
